Nepeta

I have never planted nepeta (catmint) before, mainly because I didn’t want to encourage cats into the garden – enough of them troop through, as it is!  However, I have a new young gardener helping me this year and she suggested putting some in.  It goes well with the lavender, and the bees are loving it – as does one of the cats, which spent a lot of time rolling in it earlier in the year.
